Changing your mind

Returns and refunds

Your legal rights first, then the practical process. We never apply a blanket no refunds rule.

Your 14 day right to cancel

In short

14 days from delivery to change your mind, no reason needed, and the standard delivery you paid comes back too.

Buying online, you normally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to change your mind, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. No reason is needed.

Tell us within those 14 days, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back, or of your proof of return.

The refund covers the price of the goods and the standard delivery you paid to receive them. That outbound charge is £3.95 with Royal Mail Tracked 24, or nothing to give back if your order qualified for free delivery at £35.00 or more.

If you ever pay for a faster or dearer option than our cheapest standard delivery, only the standard amount is refunded, not the upgrade. Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

In short

30 days to reject for a full refund. After that: a repair or a replacement, your choice, then money back if that does not work.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

In the first 30 days after delivery you can reject a faulty item and get a full refund. That is your short term right to reject.

After those 30 days you still have rights. In order:

  1. Ask for a repair or a replacement. Which one is your choice, unless the one you pick would cost us far more than the other.
  2. If the repair or replacement does not fix it, cannot be done, or would put you to real trouble, you can keep the item and get some of your money back. That is a price reduction.
  3. Or hand the item back for a refund instead. That is the final right to reject. After the first six months we may take off an amount for the use you have had.

For the first six months after delivery, proving the item was not faulty is our job, not yours. If a fault shows up in that time it is treated as having been there from the start, unless we can show otherwise.

This right is separate from the 14 day cancellation right and is never limited by the condition of the seal.

Sealed consumables, handled carefully

In short

An opened pack can be treated differently for a change of mind. A fault is always refundable.

Food supplements are consumable goods. For hygiene and food safety reasons, sealed items that have been opened can be treated differently from unopened ones under the cancellation rules, and we cannot resell an opened pack.

That is not a no refunds rule. A faulty, damaged or misdescribed product is refundable whether or not it has been opened. For a change of mind return, please keep the pack sealed and unopened so that it can be resold.

How a return works

In short

Tell us, we confirm, you post it back, we refund.

  1. Tell us what you are returning and whether it is a fault or a change of mind.
  2. We confirm the return, give you the address and tell you what to include.
  3. Send the goods back, keeping your proof of postage.
  4. We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item back, or within 14 days of your proof of return, whichever reaches us first.

Start by sending us a message from the contact page, with your order number and the product name.

Things that are never returnable

In short

Only what is unsafe to handle or out of date in your care, and never something that was already wrong when it reached you.

Goods that are unsafe to handle on return, or that have passed a best before date while in your care, cannot be accepted back.

That never covers a fault of ours. If an item arrived faulty, damaged, short dated or not as described, it stays refundable whatever date is printed on the pack and whatever state the seal is in. We cannot sign that right away, and we are not trying to.

If an exclusion is not written here, we are not applying it.
